Stew Perry Topband Distance Challenge
The Stew Perry Topband Distance Challenge is a unique contest - held on 160 meters - which occurs near the solstice in December. This contest uses grid squares for the exchange and a QSO point system which awards points in proportion to the distance between the stations making the QSO. There is also a generous power multipler (X2 for 100 watts and X4 for 5 watts) and a multi-operator category. There is even a multiplier for those who work QRP stations (x4) - making it worth the extra effort to pull them out of the noise.

- SPSCORE.EXE - A program that you can use to calculate your QSO points in the Stew Perry contest. Please note that it is not necessary for you to do this in order to submit your log. All logs will have their QSO points recalculated during the log checking process.
- INSTEW.EXE - A program that allows you to quickly enter the callsigns and received grids from a Stew Perry paper og and create a Cabrillo file. You can then e-mail that file to tbdc@contesting.com to submit your log.
